Wool with long fibers is usually used to produce felt. In Iran, felt art is mostly seen in villages and towns around the Caspian Sea, which is humid. In addition to its attractive shape and design, felt is said to have therapeutic properties due to its special structure, because the heat resulting from body contact with felt increases.
